Paul Askew, one of our long term friends and contributors to Relish North West, made an outstanding debut on Saturday Kitchen on Saturday 11th March.
Showing his great passion for natural ingredients and serving up a stunning Peterhead Hake with spinach, wild garlic & Southport potted shrimps, he effortlessly showed his great skills as a chef, and genuine sense of humour with tales of Scouse Caviar and his Merchant Navy heritage.
He easily put in one of the finest TV debuts @SaturdayKitchen has ever had, and showed why the Art School has established itself as one of the leading lights on the North West culinary scene.
Paul featured in our first Relish North West book with a collection of his signature dishes and will also be appearing the forthcoming Relish North West Vol. 2, bringing even more of his great recipes to life.
Lets hope this is the start of TV career for the chef with plenty of star qualities. Looking forward to seeing him on Saturday Kitchen again very soon.....
